SENTIENT Privé is an invite-only guild for New York's designers, architects, artists, makers, and cultural voices.
It brings together people whose work shapes the city's interiors, objects, spaces, images, and conversations, not through spectacle, but through small rooms, shared references, and the kind of presence that makes real connection possible.
A Guild, Not a Club
Privé is not a members' club in the traditional sense. There is no public room to check into, no dining room to claim, and no culture of performance around belonging.
What we keep instead is a considered roster of people who take their work seriously, and a calendar of gatherings built around them.
The purpose is simple: to create the right rooms, at the right scale, with the right people in them.

Every dinner, conversation, studio visit, and cultural gathering is shaped by the SENTIENT team with the same care we bring to our studio work.
We choose hosts with a clear point of view, invite guests we can personally vouch for, and keep each room small enough for real exchange. The details matter, but they are never the point. They are there to make the conversation easier, the introductions more natural, and the evening worth remembering.

Membership is by invitation.
Privé brings together residential and commercial interior designers, architects, artists, furniture and object makers, craftspeople, and a small number of cultural and editorial voices working alongside them.
Adjacent disciplines, including fashion, photography, gallery work, hospitality, and collecting, are welcomed when they share the same standard of care.
A Year Worth Showing Up For
The calendar is intentionally selective: private dinners, design and art conversations, studio visits, exhibition previews, architectural walks, and seasonal gatherings throughout the year.
Events are held across studios, galleries, workshops, landmark interiors, and the SENTIENT Gallery and Workshop in Brooklyn.
Members move through the year alongside a community that notices the details, respects the work, and gives one another room to be fully present.
